Bliss Balls

Bliss balls are a super easy and quick way of making a nutritious lunchbox snack.  They can be made with basically ANYTHING – thus the cost to make varies greatly!

Mix and mingle and experiment with the recipe, add spices if you want – the basic ratio should be 1 cup nuts to 1 cup of fruit (at least half of the fruit should be dates for stick-ability)

Experiment with different fruits and nuts, add spices….

Ingredients

Basic Recipe

  • 1 cup Cashew Nuts
  • 1 cup Dates

Other Options

  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Almonds
  • Peanuts
  • Cranberries
  • Lemon Zest
  • Dried Apricots
  • Ginger
  • Cardamon

Optional

  • Coconut

Instructions

  • Put ingredients into blender and blitz until well mixed
  • Remove and roll into balls (I make mine about the size of half of a golf ball)
  • Roll in coconut (optional)
