Easy to make and easy to experiment with! (I personally don’t put sugar in mine, preferring just to use honey)
Museli Bars
Servings 1 standard baking tray
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Golden Syrup Or Honey
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 50 grams Butter
- 3 cups Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Sultanas or Raisins
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Add any TWO of the following
- 1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
- 1/4 cup Chopped Nuts
- 1/4 cup Coconut
- 1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
- 1/4 cup Dried Apricots
- 1/4 cup Cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- In a pot melt butter
- Add golden syrup and sugar
- Bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes
- Mix with dry ingredients
- Press into a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden
- Allow to cool before cutting into slices
