Museli Bars


Easy to make and easy to experiment with!  (I personally don’t put sugar in mine, preferring just to use honey)

Museli Bars

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes
Servings 1 standard baking tray

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Golden Syrup Or Honey
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 50 grams Butter
  • 3 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Sultanas or Raisins
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Add any TWO of the following

  • 1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Nuts
  • 1/4 cup Coconut
  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Dried Apricots
  • 1/4 cup Cranberries

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C
  • In a pot melt butter
  • Add golden syrup and sugar
  • Bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes
  • Mix with dry ingredients
  • Press into a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden
  • Allow to cool before cutting into slices
